Guide to electric mobility

For many people, electric mobility is still a distant, almost futuristic world about which all sorts of things have been said and written. The truth is that the electric car is set to become the car of the future. Today, according to the “Global Electric Vehicle Outlook 2018”, a study produced by the International Energy Agency, there are more than 3 million electric vehicles on the road and approximately 1 million of these were purchased in 2017 alone. Although this is still a tiny percentage of the total number of vehicles circulating worldwide, the electric vehicle fleet has grown about 25 times in the past 6 years (Source: Bloomberg New Energy Finance).  There are about 250 models of electric car available on the market today with 20 car manufacturers producing them:  the Nissan LEAF is the top selling electric car in the world, followed by the Tesla model S.
