What happens if a building resident doesn't want the work to be done? What percentage of residents needs to be in favour for the project to be approved?
The decisions taken during a meeting of a building’s residents concerning the approval of the works outlined in article 119 of Decree Law no. 34 of 19 May 2020, converted with modifications by Law no. 77 of 17 July 2020, are valid if approved by a number of votes that represents the majority of those participating in the meeting and at least one third of the value of the building.
