Seoul, May 19, 2026 – Enel X Korea, the country’s leading independent aggregator of Demand Response, is strengthening its approach to industrial safety best-practice through a strategic partnership with DNV Korea, a global assurance and risk management provider.
The partnership reflects Enel X Korea’s commitment to applying global safety standards aligned with local regulatory requirements, supporting reliable and resilient energy solutions. For Enel X Korea, safety is not just a matter of compliance requirements, but represents a key factor in improving operational performance and building customer trust.
With the expansion of Korea’s Serious Accidents Punishment Act (SAPA) to smaller workplaces in 2024, safety has become a priority across industries. As a provider of energy solutions to more than 400 commercial and industrial customers, Enel X Korea considers strong safety management as essential to maintaining reliable operations and customer confidence. Through this collaboration, Enel X Korea aims to strengthen its approach to risk management and support more resilient operations.
The work includes the enhancement of safety management documentation in line with SAPA and the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), along with implementation support and biannual reviews. The initiative will be applied across Enel X Korea and its Joint Venture, Enel X KOMIPO Solar. DNV Korea will provide end-to-end advisory services, from HSE system design to regulatory compliance processes, supporting Enel X Korea in demonstrating its safety practices across operations.
DNV Korea noted that the collaboration will support the development of safety management systems across industrial sites in Korea, while leveraging its global HSE expertise to strengthen Enel X Korea’s safety capabilities.
