The quality already recognised by clients of Enel X, an Enel Group company, has now expanded: with the ISO 9001 certification encompassing Quality Management, the company consolidates its Integrated Management System (IMS) independently, elevating its practices and services to an international level.
Formed by the integration of the certifications ISO 14001 for Environmental Management, ISO 9001 for Quality Management and OHSAS 18001 for Occupational Health and Safety, Enel X’s IMS adds value and brings several benefits for the whole production chain.
To achieve the IMS, the company reviewed its internal processes, identified the main risks and impacts to its business, developed mitigating actions, built standards and operating procedures, bringing direct benefits to employees and to customers by standardising quality levels to a global excellence threshold.
In total, 11 focal points acted in the multiplication of the new mind-set, departments such as Intelligence and Services; Engineering and Operations; People & Organisation; Communications; sales; business lines; as well as representatives from top leadership, were essential to enact this change.
