EXCO is the first trade fair dedicated to international cooperation for sustainable development from a corporate perspective. It will showcase the innovative solutions available to anyone involved in this area and it will take place at the Fiera di Roma expo hub between May 15 and 17.
Participants will include national and international agencies, governments, financial institutions and public and private sector companies. Needless to say, the Enel X Innovability Team will also be there, having recently signed a technical sponsorship agreement with Confindustria, one of the exhibitors at the Roman expo hub. Enel X will be guesting in a special corner point on the Confindustria (Italian Industry Confederation) Stand. Confindustria will also be presenting the seven winning companies in the “Circular Economy Best Performer” competition with seven circularity reports compiled by the Enel Group’s business line.
Enel X’s solutions will also feature prominently in several speeches being made as part of Confindustria-organised workshops. They will be the central focus of a workshop being held exclusively by Enel X during the event. The themes being tackled by Enel X Innovability in its work are all linked to the Circular Economy, a subject dear to the heart of the “purple brand,” which is promoting its circularity report. Nicola Tagliafierro, Enel X’s Head of Sustainable Product Development Innovation and Product Lab, will be leading the two-hour “The Circular Economy Report: How it works” workshop. This is aimed at energy and sustainability managers and is specifically designed to explain how this innovative tool enables companies to measure their circularity levels in-house. The workshop will take participants through the goals and benefits of the Enel X circularity report, its detailed structure and the two circular economy indicators used: corporate circularity and energy circularity. Accenture and RINA will also be involved in the presentation, which will set out a roadmap for improving company circularity and developing greater awareness when it comes to monitoring and communicating circularity both within and outside an organisation.
There can be no doubt about it: sustainability is now very much a part of any successful business in today’s world.
