Energy efficiency in building management is one of the cornerstones of smart cities. We provide innovative, high-tech services for this purpose.
Currently, both residential and commercial buildings are often energy inefficient concerning both their heating requirements (heating and hot water) and their electrical energy use (lighting, air conditioning, etc.), and they are also frequently characterised by high levels of winter and summer thermal dispersion.
A first level of action includes thermal insulation, the replacement of traditional lighting systems with more efficient technologies (especially those using LEDs) and the modernisation of thermal utilities with renewable energy systems, such as solar thermal energy or the use of heat pumps. At a later stage, the most important results come from the energy retrofitting of buildings in their entirety, involving the thermal, electrical and envelope systems.
