Another municipality in the south of Greater Buenos Aires joins the change and installs more efficient lighting in different locations in its geography, within the framework of the change and energy efficiency project.
This is the municipality of Avellaneda, which, after signing an agreement with Edesur and Enel X Argentina, installed 2.500 lights in different parts of its geography; and 200 remote management teams, along Presidente Bartolomé Miter Avenue, a very important artery that crosses the central helmet.
The objective of the Telegestion is to know the status of the lighting infrastructure in real time, reduce maintenance costs and contribute to energy savings in the network modernization and digitization plan.
To guarantee the correct use of remote management equipment, we trained the technical personnel of the municipality that serves this area, which included the configuration of the equipment and a study of their location.
It is worth noting that Avellaneda is the first municipality to incorporate remote management technology in the south of the GBA.
Alejandro Rueda, head of B2B Enel X Argentina, highlighted the importance of continuing to accompany the municipalities in the Edesur concession area and throughout the country, in the transformation towards energy efficiency.
"Our objective is to accompany the municipality of Avellaneda on this path, which will not only promote efficiency in its different locations, but will also decrease the environmental footprint, which is so important for the entire Enel group", said Rueda.
He also pointed out that this journey united by common objectives will allow us to detect other needs to work on in the future. "The idea is to improve life in communities and at the same time people's lives".
