Thanks to a new agreement between Enel X and Edesur with the Ezeiza municipality, different areas are today more illuminated and with better security and energy efficiency conditions.
And it is that a team of technicians installed 3.500 lights in record time in the towns of Tristán Suárez, Spegazzini, Ezeiza Norte and Sur.
The devices were placed in less than two months, both for the first time and for replacement, remaining perfectly operational to complete the fleet to 100% smart devices.
LEDs that can be integrated into Remote Management
The 100-watt LED luminaires are reliable and durable in operation, and feature a heat dissipation system, which generates greater heat depreciation throughout their useful life.
"In addition, this high-power equipment is easily integrable into the remote management system, which generates savings in consumption, operability and maintenance, and promotes the digitization of information targeted by the world's smart cities", highlighted Luciano Imperiale, from Enel X Argentina.
This action, Luciano mentioned, is part of the joint work that Edesur and Enel X have been carrying out with the Directorate of Public Lighting of the Ezeiza municipality, led by José Correa, to promote and guarantee energy efficiency in public lighting.
The durability, the low failure coefficient and its high mechanical resistance are other characteristics of these luminaires, "which by the way are absolutely customized to the colors of the Municipality", said Luciano.
Juan Erize, country manager of Enel X Argentina, highlighted that the replacement and installation of LED technology is generating a significant improvement in lighting in the streets of the Municipality and contributing to energy efficiency. "This is an expansion plan for intelligent lighting, which aims precisely to become 100% LED".
He emphasized the enormous commitment that Enel X has with the transformation of cities and their digitization, through systems of easy integration and durability. "We are working closely with the communities and local governments to meet their needs and offer solutions that improve their quality of life".
