Enel companies in Romania launch the first free Supplier Development Program to support the growth of local suppliers by identifying the expansion paths that best fit their business objectives.
The program provides an ecosystem of opportunities, offering free access to:
- financial services (reverse factoring)
- training (in the fields of safety, sustainability innovation, sustainable development, circular economy)
- consulting
- dedicated business offers for energy supply and smart energy products
The Supplier Development Program is addressed to all suppliers in the energy sector but also in sectors of interest for Enel, which want to develop their business in areas such as: Safety, Quality, Environment, Human Rights and Correctness, Innovation, and Collaboration.
The initiative targets both current and potential suppliers that offer non only electrical works but also design and civil works services, IT services to help implement Enel’s digitalization process, call center services, communication and media services, human resources development services, as well as support services such as cleaning, security, and recruitment.
The participation in the Program is free of charge while interested suppliers must only register on the Enel Global Procurement WeBuy portal to take advantage of the benefits.
The Supplier Development Program is Enel's initiative that seeks to encourage the sustainable development of its suppliers so that the company’s generation chain is stronger, more efficient and more innovative, and to ensure that the strategic objectives of the Enel Group are met, given that suppliers play a crucial role in achieving the energy transition targets that the Group has set for itself.
