Enel X also analyzed PSE's published forecasts for the balance of net capacity reserves on the capacity market for 2021-2022. The result of the analysis confirms the conclusions of the report. The power reserves are above the long-term required level. In the most realistic variant within period of last 3 years (2017-2019) there would be only 4 hours of risk, where possible call for reduction could happen.
What are the conclusions for the industrial customers? The probability of frequent calls for power reduction is very low. It is therefore worth taking part in the Demand Side Response Program, where you can earn from 500 to over 720 k zloties for the mere readiness to reduce power of 1 MW in 2021-2024.
