All subsidiaries of Enel Peru have rules and codes of conduct that govern the behavior of their members in their relations with the different interest groups with which they are linked as shareholders, employees, suppliers, customers, creditors , and the authorities so that they act in an integral way, constituting the ethical base that gives meaning to our social responsibility.
In order to reach the highest level of satisfaction of its stakeholders, an ethical mailbox was established that allows all these groups to communicate irregular or inappropriate behaviors related to accounting, control, internal auditing or other aspects.
The procedure established by the Company guarantees confidentiality, since it is managed by an external firm with a long and wide experience in this field. This company will handle complaints or communications to whom it may concern, guaranteeing anonymity with absolute certainty.
However, the use of this procedure forces us to remember that the imputation of facts, with knowledge of their falsity or with reckless disregard for the truth, may result in criminal or civil liability under the terms contemplated in the current ordinance.
