Arrival of Smart Public Lighting in Peru

We lead the arrival of modern, innovative and sustainable public lighting through the implementation of smart and LED lighting systems in two districts of the country. With the support of Enel Distribución Perú, we achieved:

LED lighting for La Punta

Through Enel Distribución Perú, we turned La Punta (Callao) into the country’s first district with LED public lighting in most of its streets.

This technology guarantees longer durability than conventional lighting and is ready to be integrated to a remote management system, which will be implemented in subsequent phases of the project.

Smart lighting in San Miguel

In the district of San Miguel (Lima), we modernised part of the public lighting with LED lighting and smart remote management systems. These systems allow us to manage public lighting remotely ―turn on, turn off and regulate the intensity.

Through the implementation of smart lighting in streets, Enel X ensures energy and economic savings, besides improving safety and guaranteeing uniform light distribution with less light pollution.
