With nine backup generators on-site, this hospital was well-positioned to earn payments through ERCOT’s demand response (DR) program in Texas, which compensates large energy users that agree to reduce energy consumption when the grid is under duress.
With on-site natural gas generation resources, a strong push towards renewable energy, and a staff focused on sustainability and conservation, Temple University is a role model for strategic energy management.
For co-location data centres, nothing indicates reliability like an Uptime Institute tier score. The Institute is generally regarded as the leading international certification body with respect to data centre uptime, or “availability.”
