“The agreement with PwC will allow us to identify and focus on companies’ electric vehicles usage needs and study specific solutions capable of responding to the growing demand for sustainable and economically advantageous mobility”

– Francesco Venturini – Chairman and CEO of Enel X

A recent analysis by Strategy&, PwC’s strategy house, forecasts strong growth in the sector of electric cars in Italy. Between half a million and one and a half million e-cars are expected to be in circulation by 2025.

“We are very satisfied with the project launched today: it is one of the first examples of electric mobility being applied to a corporate context. I believe that this solution will fully meet the needs our network has expressed for flexible and dynamic mobility, while also providing the greater sustainability, efficiency and convenience offered by an electric fleet”

– Giorgio Biscardini - Strategy& Partner

To promote the spread of zero-emission mobility, Enel has launched a national plan for the installation of charging infrastructures. Approximately 7 thousand charging columns are expected to be in operation by 2020 and 14 thousand by 2022, with widespread coverage in all Italian regions.

“The technology currently on the market already makes it possible to introduce electric cars to the majority of corporate fleets: this choice demonstrates an interest in protecting the environment and also opens up new opportunities”

– Francesco Venturini, Chairman and CEO of Enel X
