Enel X has made its debut in London. On the 21st of November, from the stage of Capital Markets Day, the annual appointment during which the Enel Group presents the update of its Strategic Plan, Head of the Global Business Line e-Solutions, Francesco Venturini, unveiled to the financial community the Group’s new brand, Enel X, which will be operational from 2018.

Enel X has been conceived to promote a distinctive position in the market with the aim of instilling new life into the New Power Economy.
“A new brand,” explained the Head of the Global Business Line e-Solutions, “which at the same time serves as a tool that will lead to the creation of new services, a cultural shift and new solutions to offer customers.”
Enel X covers a global field of action.
In order to provide the new solutions requested by customers and to be ready for the future, we have decided to structure the business line into four Global Product Lines:
e-Industries, offering solutions aimed at sizeable customers, with a particular focus on flexible services (consulting services, technologies linked to energy efficiency, distributed generation and the creation of off-grid and Demand Response solutions);
e-Mobility, covering every type of customer, with the aim of becoming the technological leader in the sector and to promote increasingly widespread and efficient electrical mobility with charging infrastructures, Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) and second battery life services;
e-Home, dedicated to residential customers, with services like installation and maintenance of advanced technological solutions for the home; for smarter homes, capable of saving more and more energy and offering greater wellbeing;
e-City, offering public administrations and municipalities integrated services and connectivity solutions, like the wholesale offer of fibre optic services.
Alongside the four Global Product Lines, we have also created the “Innovation & Product Lab”, which conceives, develops and tests new products and services, also with the contribution of customers.
On the evening of the 20 of November, the evening before Capital Markets Day, the new Enel X brand was presented by Enel’s Director of Communications, Ryan O’Keeffe, during a meeting with the press at London’s Meliá Hotel.

The aim is to use the new brand to bring a wide and constantly expanding range of integrated digital solutions and services to customers, capable of connecting people, homes, businesses and cities. A unique network with which our division no longer wants to be a mere supplier of energy, but a partner for our customers. All with a view to building an ecosystem, which we have called the New Power Economy, an environment in which to exchange services and sustainable value based on pioneering technologies, innovative ways of using energy and partnerships.
There were just two options: to stand on the edge of the field and watch the others play, or be the ones who dictate the rules of the game. We began working on this project two years ago and now we have the numbers and the technologies to choose the second option and play a different game, one that is much more tangible than that of our competitors.
