How does a condensing boiler work?

It's a device that enables the water for a central heating system (and/or hot water for domestic use) to be heated through the combustion of natural gas, by recovering and utilising all the heat from the exhaust fumes. This makes it possible to harness an additional energy source which would otherwise just be emitted into the atmosphere with a normal boiler.
