BMW Golf Cup: green golf courses matched by Enel X’s green mobility
The world’s largest amateur golf tournament returns to Italy with 20 legs spread all over the country. Enel X is sponsoring the 2019 edition and will be hosting stands showcasing its innovative e-vehicle charging solutions

The BMW Golf Cup International is the world’s largest amateur golf tournament with over 100,000 golfers teeing off in 50 nations. It even spans 20 legs in Italy which spread right across the country’s main golf clubs with competitions going on from April right through to October. The first was held on April 13 at the Golf Club Bologna and saw 130 golfers taking part in what was an eagerly awaited leg of the 33rd edition of the competition. They played it out over 18 holes, vying not just for the chance of a place in the World Finals but also on Team BMW for the BMW Road to the Italian Open 2019 Challenge.
The golfing enthusiasts has been flanked throughout the competition by an adrenaline-fuelled partnership with Enel X, sponsor of the 2019 edition which made its presence felt out on the courses throughout the event. At 10 special legs of the Golf Cup starting from May, in actual fact, Enel X hosts stands specifically designed to showcase its innovative electric mobility charging solutions.
The BMW Golf Cup will be counting on the very special participation of Enel X for the following dates: the Golf Club Marco Simone in Rome, May 11; the Golf Club Acaya in Lecce, May 26; the Golf Club Le Rovedine in Milan, June 1; the Golf Club Villa Condulmer in Mogliano Veneto near Treviso, June 8; the Golf Club Fioranello in Rome, June 15; the Golf Club Tolcinasco in Milan, June 22; the Golf Club Adriatic in Cervia near Ravenna, June 29; the Golf Club Dolomiti in Sarnonico near Trento, July 7, and, lastly, the Golf Club Villa Carolina in Capriata d’Orba near Alessandria, September 15.

Italy’s “Borghi Autentici” move towards zero emissions with the installation of Enel X charging stations
