Energy efficiency and electricity grid stability are two essential factors for both corporate and environmental wellbeing the world over. Demand Response is quite literally the best answer to the challenge of creating a cleaner, waste-free future. As the world’s leader in the field, Enel X also introduced this innovative programme to Poland where it has just won a capacity of 546 MW for 2023. The Enel Group’s innovative business line is also the leading operator in Demand Response in Poland where it holds a 70% share of the Demand Response Market in the new Capacity Market. In recent months, in fact, Enel X also secured a further 446 MW for 2021 and 546 MW for 2022.
These latest successes have seen us grow our global Demand Response portfolio as well as taking the leadership position on the promising Polish market. The experience we have built up on various Demand Response markets across the globe means that we can confidently assert that the capacity market in Poland will yield economically efficient solutions for the electricity grid in addition to new business opportunities for the country’s commercial and industrial energy consumers.
