1,650 metres would make the “short” label difficult shake off for most circuits. But the Autodromodell'Umbria di Magione is not just any old circuit. Indeed, because it is so technically challenging, italways delivers brilliant edge-of-the-seat racing. In actual fact, over the years it has provided thehistoric backdrop for events of the likes of the Coppa Italia Autostoriche and the Giro d’Italia. And,as they say, small circuits mean great corners.
12-13 September Vallelunga
Motorsport fans need no introduction to Vallelunga. Located just 30 km to the north of Rome, it is astrategic hub for Central Italy. Now the Smart e-Cup contenders are ready and willing to pitthemselves against this circuit’s extraordinary twists and turns, from the “Tornante” hairpin to the"Curva Grande" which, at 166 metres, is definitely the toughest challenge the drivers will encounter.
10-11 October Pergusa
The stunning Autodromo di Pergusa is everything a speed lover could possibly hope for. Its curvesquite literally fade into the background for its entire 4,950-metre length. Will this be the mostexciting battleground of the Smart e-Cup?
31 October 1 November Varano
Varano is just a stone’s throw from Parma. Motorsport and cars are a religion in the EmiliaRomagna region and only the very best competitions are granted access to its revered circuits. TheSmart e-Cup is one such event. For once, however, the gentle peace of the Romagna’s rolling hillswill remain unshattered because sustainable progress is as silent as the Smart e-Cup carsthemselves.
14-15 November Misano
We return to Emilia Romagna after Varano. This time to Misano. Lying just a stone’s throw from the sea, Misano has very much earned its place as one of Italy’s most revered circuits. Having played host to every type of event requiring the roar of an engine, the circuit now welcomes the Smart e-Cup and, although the roar won’t be quite the same, there will be no shortage of the main ingredient: speed.
26-27 November Adria
The Adria International Raceway nestles in the heart of the Po Delta Park. What better competitionto ensure that the natural rhythms of the reserve are respected? There can only be one answer: theSmart e-Cup. Zero emissions but maximum adrenaline!
