Energica Eva EsseEsse9 is the first “old-school” electric motorcycle.
Its name is Eva EsseEsse9, inspired by the real name of Via Emilia, historic road crossing the Italian Motor Valley.
Via Emilia is one of the oldest Italian roads, built by the Roman consul Marco Emilio Lepido in 187 BC to connect Rimini to Piacenza.
The soul of Energica third model rests on the history and traditions of this area: innovation combines with the genuine engines tradition of Emilia Romagna land.
The “old school” Energica is therefore a brave, enthusiastic and heartful motorcycle on which the structural components are on sight.
Inspired by the ancient motorcycles, Eva EsseEsse9 is equipped with a classic soft-touch seat and a full LED headlight with DRL: an oval light embedded in a precious aluminum machined crown.
Eva EsseEsse9 will be the first bike in the world to have this kind of headlight.
The design of the bike has been entirely made by the Energica Design Dept., even the choice of materials was audacious: the structural aluminum machined plates and folded, riveted aluminum sheets, are completely unveiled.
Energica Eva EsseEsse9 has a permanent magnet AC (PMAC) oil cooled motor that produces 80kW (108 hp c.ca) of instantaneous power and a torque of 180 Nm.
The electric streetfighter has a range up to 200km (ECO mode) and can reach a top speed of 200km/h in Sport mode.
Eva EsseEsse9’s battery, inverter, charger and ABS are constantly monitored and managed by a sophisticated Vehicle Control Unit, like Energica Eva.
Energica Eva EsseEsse9 does not have a gearbox or a clutch. Everything is regulated through the ride-by-wire system, allowing you to control the acceleration and deceleration of the motor with the integrated regenerative torque braking fully adjustable by the rider.
The “old-school” is fully compatible with commercial charging stations or can be charged at home. Energica Eva EsseEsse9 is the only “old-school” electric motorcycle in the world with DC fast-charge technology based on CCS Combo (automotive technology).
