Until just a few years ago, V2G technology, which enables electric cars to feed power into the grid, was a valid project still in the theoretical stage. Now, however, several new cars on the market support these functionalities, thereby making their batteries available to the electricity grid.

The Parker Project’s results are significant. This is the first time that the sector has demonstrated the countless advantages of V2G technology, which include frequency containment, using multiple EVs and fleets. These results can be applied to EV technology worldwide, thereby preparing the market for the mass adoption of electric vehicles and V2G-compatible charging stations.
